Lu, I liked Thief Lord better than Inkheart, but am probably in the minority. Some day I'll get around to Infinite Days.
Atwood is a big hit or miss for me. If one of her books connect, such as Alias Grace or Cats Eye, it's amazing.
Savannah, I also liked Past Midnight very much.
