This week’s musing…
Love - Definitely characters who are funny, kick-ass and not afraid to stand up for themselves. I also like quirky characters :)What makes you love / hate a character in a book?
Hate - Characters with no personality. And characters that are hateful and spiteful.
And you?

I like your answers.
Yes, I agree...and I think the drama between the good and bad ones makes me love the book more!

Characters are like real people, it comes down to chemistry. Here’s my Musing for Monday.
I agree. Here's my musing: http://parchmentgirl.com/2010/09/20/musing-mondays-no-three/
I agree..I hate characters who have no backbone also. :)
Yes to the characters that are hateful and spiteful. I will occasionally read books with these as protagonists if there is hope for character development, but if they remain that way through the whole book, they just get really tiresome (case in point for me: Wuthering Heights.)
