"Someone's been a very bad zombie.

Kate Grable is horrified to find out that the football coach has given the team steroids. Worse yet, the steroids are having an unexpected effect, turning hot gridiron hunks into mindless flesh-eating zombies. No one is safe--not her cute crush Aaron, not her dorky brother, Jonah . . . not even Kate!

She's got to find an antidote--before her entire high school ends up eating each other. So Kate, her best girlfriend, Rocky, and Aaron stage a frantic battle to save their town. . . and stay hormonally human.

5/10

I was taken by surprise with this novel. It was funny, random and just plain wacky. If you are bored and you can't get into reading and you feel like just having some fun, then this is perfect! You will fly through this book and probably won't put it down until its done.

Random body parts, outrageous characters and scene's that will make you wonder what you would do in the situation is abundant. This isn't a serious book and if you can get past that you are golden!

Although this is no literary masterpiece, if you are in the mood for mindless fun with some gore thrown in, then this is your book! I will definitely read the next one in the series to see what crazy things Kate gets up to next!

"I stumbled into a clearing. In the springtime, it was probably the kind of place you’d like to hang out with sparkly vampires. But it was slightly less attractive in the rain."

Kate goes around giving people injections, and somehow no one questions her and just let her do whatever. "This will help you!" "OK, sure. Inject me with whatever you want." Obviously all the kids in this story are hardcore druggies not caring when people stick 'em with needles. :P
