Oh so very jealous! The US needs these! :)
Sadly the US won't get them because there's a law stating that you can't put anyone on a stamp who isn't dead yet. This even goes for people who portray characters.
A while ago there was a stamp for the musical Cats that got people in an uproar because the person on the stamp looked too much like Terrence Mann, the person who played the Rum Tum Tugger in Cats. These stamps are obviously of living people so they'd never get made here in the States.
These are so cool!! I'm not sure which stamp I want more, but it would be difficult to mail them away on a mere letter. (I'd be framing them, or something nerdy like that. ;) Hope you have fun with these!
...I didn't know that the US couldn't put living people on stamps, but I'm hardly surprised. *huffs* Nothing makes sense here in the States.
I wonder if you guys can still get it posted from Royal Mail? I mean if they post to South Africa, they will probably post to US :)
