I loved the movie! It was very visually pleasing. The book on the other hand was brilliant! There were a few things that were left out of the movie that I missed. I also found that the casting was very well done!
I find Iorek Byrnison more "real" and impressive in the Movie than in the book tho.
But nevertheless I have to say... Book

Definitely the book! I enjoyed the movie, but when I read the novel afterwards I realised it was far better. Also, they declawed the movie by taking all the controversial bits out, and those things were part of what made it such a good story.
I have yet to read the book. Actually my mom had a hard time getting into it. So I was unsure. I like the movie though.

I think that the book is better than the movie...although I love both^^
I think it rarely happens that a movie based on a book is actually better than the novel itself.
