"The events in these stories are real. Some names have been changed so I don’t get yelled at.

Ned Vizzini writes about the weird, funny, and sometimes mortifying moments that made up his teen years. With wit, irony, and honesty, Teen Angst? Naaah . . . invites you into his world of school, parents, street people, rock bands, friends, fame, camp, sex (sort of), Cancun (almost), prom, beer, Nintendo, the cool (and almost cool), and more. A Holden Caulfield for Generation Y, Ned Vizzini is an original voice to be reckoned with, read, and enjoyed.

6/10

This book was a fun read. If you have every had a "teen" moment you will identify with Ned's experiences. He sees the world in a sometimes startling light while just trying to get by in life.

If you want a light read, that will have you chuckling, then this is the book for you.

One warning and mild spoiler though, you are left wondering what happens to him after High School. But I guess we'll have to wait for his next book.

" Teenage boys are (1) many in number; (2) bored out of our minds. And we get tired of descrambled porno. "

None, but have a look at: It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
