Book vs Movie
I LOVED this movie, and I enjoyed the book. The book had some extra pieces i loved, but it was different from the movie. The movie characters have more personality in my opinion and its more fun!
So i have to say... MOVIE

I have not read the book. But I think perhaps... I am no idea which one. I was not a fan of the movie when I seen it ages ago.
