Sookie Stackhouse vs True Blood
I love the books, and i love the series! But i must say if it comes to choosing, i would have to choose True Blood. Its more gritty, and it shows the good bits the whole 50 mins long!
Also the actors are brilliant!
So which one do your prefer?

Ok, I will admit I have not read the book nor seen the show. One I don't have HBO, now I could get the books but I guess I just haven;t been drawn to them. I have seen pieces of the show and it does look interesting.
Until the last couple books, I would have whole-heartedly gone with the books. The books focus more, and get into Sookie, whereas the show kind of wanders, and spends too much time away from the characters I like.
But after how the last two books went, I'm leaning slightly more toward the show. Even though the finale was not at all good.
True Blood, without a doubt! It's dark, gritty, and completely addictive.
I only read the first book but I found it kind of dull. Sookie is less interesting, and because it's narrated from her perspective I really missed all the other characters. Also, way too much info on what Sookie's wearing, when she's shaving, putting on moisturiser, cleaning the house, etc.
And way too much romance, blech.
