I could not read in the bath. I reluctanly answered the questions as well. My answers are short and to the point. I like it when we are asked on topic and we can discuss it in depth, this was nothing more than a survey. Anyhoo, Here is my Booking Through Thursday

You said that you are too intimidated to start: A Thousand Splendid Suns. May I suggest that you listen to this book in an audio format (books-on-CD, playaway, etc). I was so glad that I did. There are lost of words that I had no idea how to pronounce, etc. and it was a magical experience, a very good book.
