Great contest :) My favorite book as of right now (besides the Hunger Games) is The Line by Teri Hall. It's another Dystopian YA novel and part of a series. I highly recommend it. I loved Julie Kagawa's series. First book is called Iron king, second Iron daughter (there is a short story Winter passage between the two of them) and I think it is the best peace of literature I've read recently:)

My favourite book of all time is IF I STAY by Gayle Forman. Beautiful story, wonderful set of characters, unique writing. I loved it, loved the premise, loved the cover, loved the title... Hope you add it to your TBR if it isn't yet on the list!
I can't pick just one favorite book of all time, but To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorites.
My favorite book series of all time is The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan (and now Brandon Sanderson).

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll & The Stand by Stephen King
My favorite book other than The Hunger Games is Graceliing by Kristin Cashore! The female and protagonist is somewhat like Katniss.. they have a lot of similarities :D
I've no favorite book, but a favorite series - the Dark Jewels by Anne Bishop :)

I have such a hard time with the favorite book here they are Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr, Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa (have to read Iron King and Winter Passages first) Tyger, Tyger by Kersten Hamilton and Need by Carrie Jones. I could live with just those the rest of my life if I had to. Mix the characters up change the stories around. I'd be happy with those. Don't make me choose. But I put Wicked Lovely, much to the jealousy of the other books!

Paranormalcy is my favorite read this year. The Maze Runner is really good too.
I have a few favourites. But my top two books/series favourites of all time is the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews in which the first book is titled Magic Bites. And the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher in which the first book is titled Storm Front. Masterpieces!

My favorite book is probably The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. It's just perfect in terms of writing, characters, plot, romance-- if you haven't read it, I strongly urge you to do so!
i have so many favorites...too hard to choose just one! so i'll mention a fave of mine that i haven't seen mentioned yet...the delilah street: paranormal investigator series by carole nelson douglas. dancing with werewolves is the first in the series. of course, this author has been a fave of mine for a long, so i think she can do no wrong....

Hmm..I'll mention something that's not "The Hunger Games" or "Vampire Academy" (although I love those two series with my heart). John Green's Paper Towns or Looking for Alaska are fantastic books. There's also Willow by Julia Hoban, which deals with cutting.

My favorite book of all time is Jacob Have I Loved by Katherine Paterson.
It is virtually impossible to pick a favourite book as mine have changed as I have grown older.
I will opt to say the James Herriot series, All Things Wise and Wonderful, etc. is probably the books that I have enjoyed the most over the years.
