She's the only one I could stand and she's minor.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8646387045673102168.post-77271285177498084662010-10-05T03:15:38.058-07:002010-10-05T03:15:38.058-07:00Thanks for the recommendation Rebecca :DThanks for the recommendation Rebecca :DSugar and Snarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06653208604957196237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8646387045673102168.post-74164898683001227412010-10-04T10:40:25.145-07:002010-10-04T10:40:25.145-07:00I can't believe this! There's not a horrible crinoline dress or swooning Jane Austen heroine in sight! It's great.

I'd reccomend Jane Eyre though: written by another Bronte and full of a little more good-old fashioned romance but just as Gothic and sometimes just as violent. The Brontes grew up in quite a harsh landscape and society was pretty cruel back then... it was very hard to be in love when you factored in class structure, the almost impossibilty of people to get divorced and the necessity, really, of marrying someone who would help you stay alive.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00408185291645608885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8646387045673102168.post-5211367212401830092010-10-04T07:33:45.100-07:002010-10-04T07:33:45.100-07:00I know what you mean.
